This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your use of the Codeply desktop application (the "Software"). It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy — where they overlap, this EULA covers the specific rights you have to install and run the Software itself.
License grant
Codeply grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Software on devices you own or control, for as long as your account remains in good standing. This license is for your own use — it doesn't extend to anyone else.
Restrictions
- No reverse engineering. Don't decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the Software's source code, except where such a restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.
- No redistribution. Don't resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise make the Software available to third parties as if it were your own.
- No circumvention. Don't bypass usage limits, licensing checks, or authentication built into the Software.
- No unlawful use. Don't use the Software to build, generate, or deploy anything you don't have the legal right to.
Third-party connections
The Software can connect, at your direction, to third-party services — including Gmail, Slack, Vercel, and Supabase — to send messages, deploy projects, or provision infrastructure on your behalf. Each connection is opt-in, requires you to sign in with that provider directly, and only acts when you ask it to or explicitly approve the action inside the app. Your use of those connected services is also governed by that provider's own terms.
Ownership
The Software, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Codeply and its licensors. This EULA gives you a license to use it — it doesn't transfer any ownership rights to you.
Updates
The Software may update itself, or require you to update it, to keep working correctly or securely. Features, limits, and behavior can change between versions.
Termination
This license ends automatically if you violate this EULA. We can also suspend or terminate your access for violations of our Terms of Service. Once it ends, you must stop using the Software and remove it from your devices.
No warranty
The Software is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codeply isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software.
Changes to this agreement
If this agreement changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Software after a change means you accept the updated terms.
